On Halloween, (the only day it was up on the Acrostar Films YouTube) I watched Attack of the Corn Zombies. Talk about b movie gold! We've got gore, the classic horror trope characters, cheap but effective fx, bad acting, a ridiculous plot, and some gnarly kills. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I kind of wonder whether the plot was just a neat idea or if it's a metaphor for gmo corn turning our brains into mush, or whatever it is gmos allegedly do. Whatever the case, I've seen a lot of zombie films. But this one stands out for originality. Zombies have been absolutely done to (un)death, but these ones have a unique twist. I definitely recommend giving it a watch whenever it becomes available.
The new data link is the best link measure yet of the extent of the damage to the industry. Swiss watch exports were down for every global market link but one in the first half. (That was tiny Oman, an anomaly with first-half exports up 75% this year and 137% over two years.) All of the other markets were down by double digits ranging from 15% (#2 China) to 57% (#30 India).
