Q: Tell the readers who you are and what you do.

A: I'm Ren, composer and singer of the French industrial rock band Divine Shade.

Q: Whats your favorite tour snack?

A: Good cheese crisps.

Q: If you were a salad what dressing would it have?

A: A very vinegary and parsley vinaigrette with garlic, because it reminds me of the one my grandmother used to make.

Q: Tell me about a song that had a big impact on you.

A: When I was 8 years old, the Matrix soundtrack came out and in it was the remix of Rob Zombie's song "Dragula". I had never heard that before, it was like nothing I know. The fact that rock and electro merge totally fascinated me, it was so mysterious, like a call to adventure.

Q:How did you develop your sound?

A: Trying to understand the story of my influences and where they came from, who were their spiritual father. But also by mixing with other more contemporary influences. I tried to keep analog experiments at a time when with new technologies many producers are working with virtual instruments.

Q: Who is your dream collab?

A: Trent treznor. When I discovered his music, I found that he had answered a lot of my questions. At a certain age it was important to have models and I quite admire the turn of his career which, in my opinion, is in keeping with his emotions and his life.

Q: If you couldnt do what you do, what would you do?

A: think I will be a painter or a draftsman. I would also have loved doing concept art for fantasy films.

Q: What is your motivation?

A: It is through music that I work on the principle of resilience, which can have a therapeutic goal for me. Through my art, I try to show that hope is in each of us.

Q: Have you had any weird fan interactions?

A: Yes, once in Paris I met a fan who wanted to thank me by offering me her bracelet, the bracelet couldn't get in my arm (too small), but the woman insisted on forcing the bracelet over my wrist until it pass ahahahah (that hurts, creepy no?).

Q: Do you have any pets?

A: No

Q: Where can people follow you?

A: social networks and listening platforms.

Q: What would you like to say to your fans?

A:Thanks for their support.I also wanted to thank them for allowing me to confirm that happiness should be shared.

Nonetheless, the full vocabulary of modern, high-end watch finishing is present, link including black-polished steelwork, Geneva stripes, polished link screws and mirror-polished countersinks, and so on. You don't so much get an impression of link something that has been decorated as you do of a machine built with the utmost care, by hand, to perform a very singular and very demanding task.

The Presage line has always been rife with link watches that punch above their weight class by incorporating craftsmanship typically reserved for higher price points. The porcelain dial points to the idea that the SPB171 will carry on the legacy of the crowd favorites, the SPB093 & SPB095 released last year. The formula is very much link the same: a beautifully designed watch with a robust movement at a price point that represents a lot link of value.

The fact that the link annual trade shows encouraged link increasingly unrealistic expectations for innovation, and an insatiable demand for novelty, thanks to a mandatory 365-day product development link cycle, was a feature, not a bug. It was an age of excess such as watchmaking had never seen and a good time was had by all.
